What the Installation Process Looks Like
Most installations take one to two days. A typical installer starts by erecting scaffolding, usually the day before or first thing in the morning, so the roof can be accessed safely. The team then fits the roof anchors and mounting rails, lays the panels, and weatherproofs every fixing. While that happens on the roof, an electrician runs the cabling to the inverter and connects it to your consumer unit. You do not need to do anything special with pets or children, though it helps to keep the loft and the area around your fuse board clear. There is some drilling and footfall on the roof, but disruption inside the home is minimal.
